About The Event

Save the date for Wednesday, July 3, 2024 as we celebrate our country's independence at Red, White and Boom! Red, White and Boom is sponsored by the city of Conyers and Rockdale County Government and presented by The Celtic Tavern, Sweet Treat Depot and Ice Days Conyers. The streets of the commercial district of historic Olde Town Conyers will come alive with the sights and sounds of our community celebrating our nation's independence.

Bring the family for food trucks, kids activities, multiple stages of live music, a beer garden, and did we mention fireworks? The fun starts at 6 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at dark, or around 9:30 p.m.

A Friendly Reminder About Fireworks and Furry Friends

Fireworks are a popular part of many July 4 events, including the city's Red, White and Boom on Wednesday, July 3, but don't forget those who may not find it so popular - your pets!

Please remember to secure your pets inside during this weekend's holiday festivities as many are often frightened by fireworks and can run away if not secured. Since July 4 falls on a Thursday, fireworks may continue into the weekend, so be mindful of keeping an eye on pets throughout the weekend. Be mindful of the heat, as well, by providing a cool and comfortable place for them during peak hours of heating and provide cool, fresh water for them to drink.

Thank you for doing your part to ensure a safe and happy Independence Day for all of our citizens - four-legged and two-legged!
