The Conyers City Council established a motorized cart, or golf cart, district in 2014 and in 2019 and again in 2024, expanded the district to spur more interest among residents owning and operating golf carts to navigate city streets.

Residents interested in operating a motorized cart or golf cart in the designated motorized cart district must abide by the guidelines in the city ordinance and register the cart with the Conyers Police Department.
