What is Shop with a Cop?
Shop with a Cop is a program created by the Conyers Police Department, in collaboration with the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Department of Public Safety, in which law enforcement personnel accompany children from families experiencing financial hardships to the Conyers Wal-Mart to shop for Christmas gifts.
Since the program began in 2007, nearly 2,000 children have benefitted from Shop with a Cop.
