Permit Type	Description
Building Permit [PDF]	Building permit required for new build, renovations, repairs and additions. Minimum fee - $150.*
Certificate of Appropriateness Application [PDF]	Required if interested in new construction, demolition, exterior alterations or repair, landscaping, etc. on a historic property in the city limits.
Electrical Permit [PDF]	Required when electrical systems are to be installed, replaced or altered. To restore power to any building, commercial or residential, the property owner or tenant must hire an electrician to perform an inspection. Then the electrician must pull an electrical permit and schedule inspection with building inspectors who will inspect and send a reconnect power notice to the appropriate power company. Minimum fee - $150.00. *
Plumbing/Sprinkler Permit [PDF]	Required for the installation and replacement of fixtures, water and sewer lines. Minimum fee - $150.00. *
HVAC Permit [PDF]	Required for the ventilation, installation, and/or replacement of heating, air conditioning, range hood, gas piping and ventilation fans. Minimum fee - $150.00. *
Development Permit [PDF]	Required for grading and the installation of utilities and sediment control. Minimum fee- $500.00, fee is established depending upon acreage. *
Sign Permit [PDF]	Required for a sign to be erected, replaced, reconstructed, expanded or relocated. Minimum fee - $50.00. *
Home Occupation Tax Registration [PDF]	Required if you wish to conduct any activity related to an occupation on the dwelling premises.
Garage Sale Permit [DOC]	Required if you wish to have a garage sale within the city limits of Conyers.
Criminal History Consent Form [PDF]	Required if you need a criminal history check.

Comp Plan, Rezoning, SUP Application [PDF]	Application for comprehensive land use plan, zoning amendment or conditional use amendment.
Text Amendment [DOC]	Application to amend the Official Zoning Ordinance, Sign Ordinance, and/or Subdivision Regulations. The fee is $300.00.
Variance-Appeal Application [PDF]	Application for a variance or appeal.
Zoning Verification Form [PDF]	A $50 application fee is due at the time of submittal.
Reduced Sanitation Fee Application [DOC]	Application for reduced sanitation fee for persons 62 years of age or older and for totally disabled persons.

Special Event Permit Application [PDF]	Special event policy and application to apply for a special event in the city limits.
Alcoholic Beverage Off-Premises Consumption License [PDF]	This license is available only to current city of Conyers alcoholic beverage licensees and requires a fee of $200.
