Keep Conyers-Rockdale Beautiful is hosting a free e-recycling and paper shredding event for Rockdale residents and businesses to maintain a clean, green community. A maximum of four banker boxes of paper per vehicle is allowed. Must have valid ID as proof of an address in Rockdale County. The e-recycling and paper shredding event is Saturday, September 10 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Rockdale County Government Complex at 1400 Parker Road. Accepted items include:

Paper shredding on site (papers that are loose, folded or in envelopes)

Electronics recycling (charges may apply): desktops, laptops. servers, mainframes, networking equipment, cell phones, phone systems, keyboards/mice, check processing, gaming consoles, gaming controllers, LCD monitors, CD ROMS, floppy drives, circuit boards, power supplies, hard drives, UPS/lithium batteries, Ni-MH/Ni-CAD batteries, cable/wire, toner/inkjet cartridges, printers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, typewriters, modems, stereos/radios, VCR, DVD/CD/Blu-Ray players, docking stations, TVs ($20 each), CRT monitors ($10 each)
