Volunteers are needed for a Rivers Alive community waterway cleanup organized for Saturday, October 8 at Pine Log Park from 9:00 a.m. – 12: 00 p.m.
The cleanup is sponsored by the city of Conyers and Rockdale County governments and volunteers will be provided with gloves, safety vests, masks, and water, and receive a free t-shirt. Stormwater tax credits are available for city and county residents.
The cleanup begins at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers should access Pine Log Park via the park’s entrance at 1451 Pine Log Road where staff will check them in and provide instructions.
