The Rockdale County Democratic Committee invites the public to attend a virtual Forum for candidates seeking office to serve on the Conyers City Council.

The Conyers City Council Candidates Forum will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 6:00PM – 7:30PM.  This event will be streamed on Facebook Live at Rockdale Democrats and available via Zoom – Meeting ID 859 0756 6338, Passcode 412266.

Moderated by the Honorable Ruth Wilson, Clerk of Courts, Rockdale County-retired, this forum will have the following confirmed candidates participating:

            Mayoral Candidate:                          Mayor Vince Evans – unopposed (remarks)

            District 1 Candidates:                      Leslie Lambert and Eric Fears

            District 2, Post 1 Candidates:         Jason Cosby, Josie Giles and Charlie Bryant
