Ragnar Trail Atlanta-GA presented by Salomon is the ultimate weekend getaway. Runners will come together on April 12-13 at Georgia International Horse Park, a former Olympic venue situated about 45-minutes outside of the city lights of nearby Atlanta at the Georgia International Horse Park.
Teams are welcome to start their Ragnar Trail adventure on Thursday, for a bonus night of camping and bonding with friends!
On Friday morning, the start gun goes off, and teams of 8 (or 4) set out to conquer a series of three smooth single track trails that start and finish at Ragnar Village. Ragnar Trail is an overnight trail running adventure that you can only do with a team. And when the sun goes down, runners make their way through the night with headlamps until every person on their team has completed all three loops on Saturday.
Granite slabs, small bridges, forests filled with Georgia pines, streams, ponds and wildlife are a few of the things that runners will experience out on the course. This venue features the perfect mix of natural beauty, challenging technical uphill sections, and flowy, gradual, descents. Mark your running calendar and get ready to celebrate with your team all day (and night, and day again) around the campfire where you can enjoy friends, s'mores, music, movies, and a billion stars overhead!
