The Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce and the Rockdale Branch of the NAACP will co-host a breakfast on January 21 commemorating the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is the 16th year the Chamber of Commerce and Rockdale NAACP have hosted the event and it has become a community tradition for many residents and business owners who want to appropriately observe the day and honor Dr. King. The event begins at 7:45 a.m. at the Rockdale Career Academy, 1064 Culpepper Drive SW. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Tickets are first come, first served. There are no advanced tickets and seating is limited.
