Newton County Saddle Club is a two day open show that offers classes for everyone. Saturday classes include jumping, huntseat equitation, huntseat pleasure, trail, halter classes, showmanship, pattern classes, saddleseat and gaited classes. Sunday classes include halter, western pleasure, western horsemanhip, trail, showmanship, classes for miniature horses and western dressage. There are divisions from leadline, beginner, walk/trot to open classes. An end of the year banquet is held and awards offered for every class held. Both shows start at 8:00 in the morning.
