Conyers Police Department is offering active shooter/threats preparedness training to citizens interested in learning how to best react to such an incident. Unfortunately, the police are not the first responders to the scene, you are. The goal of this training is to educate you on where to go, what to do, and what you should be prepared to do should you find yourself in the area of an active shooter or other threat.
The session is scheduled for November 28th at 7 p.m. and will last approximately one hour and a half. The session will take place in the Conyers Police Department Training Room, the second floor of the Conyers Police Department, adjacent to Council Chambers, at 1194 Scott Street.Email Lieutenant Greg Carson, greg.carson@conyersga.gov for additional information. Please leave your name, phone number, and how many are attending. RSVP as soon as possible as space is limited.
