Event Name:  2nd Annual Georgia Open Horseback ARchery Tournament

Hosted by the Georgia Horse Archers, Inc. and Horse Archery USA

Location:  The Glen at the Georgia International Horse Park

Horse Archery USA and its Atlanta-based affiliate clubs and Georgia Horse Archers, Inc. are hosting the 2nd Annual Georgia Open Horseback Archery Tournament on October 7-8, 2017 at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, GA.  The event is sanctioned by Horse Archery USA (www.horsearchery.us) and mounted archers of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete.  We currently have 20 competitors registered, including riders from Georgia, Florida, Texas, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and even the country of Luxembourg! 

On Saturday, we will be offering a Cross-Country Hunt Course, which simulates the ancient culture of hunting from horseback.  Competitors will be galloping down a trail and shooting targets on both sides within in a par time.  On Sunday, there will be three different track course set up in a large open field - the Korean 2-Shot, Korean 3-Shot, and a Gambler's Choice Course.  Details on each of these courses, including rules and regulations, can be found on the competition website, www.gahorsearchers.com/2016-georgia-international-competition
