The Conyers Mayor and City Council will meet for their annual planning retreat, January 27-29, 2017, at the Legacy Lodge Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands Resort, 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford, Georgia.

The meeting is open to the public on Friday, January 27 from 9:00 a.m..-12:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Meeting Room at the conference center for a joint meeting with Rockdale County commissioners. The city council will convene for their retreat on Friday, January 27 from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in Meeting Room II, which are open to the public. 

The council will convene in executive session on Sunday, January 29 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussions related to personnel, potential litigation and property acquisition/real estate.
