Keep Conyers-Rockdale Beautiful is sponsoring a FREE event for the public as part of its month of recycling activities. On Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., professional electronics and paper recycling companies will securely handle all items on site under the close supervision of Rockdale County staff. A maximum of four banker boxes of paper per vehicle, please.

Accepted items include paper shredding on site of loose papers, folded paper or in envelopes.

Electronics items include (charges may apply): personal computers, servers CD ROMS, circuit boards, power supplies, keyboards, mice, gaming consoles, gaming controllers, PC monitors, laptops, printers, LCD monitors, fax machines, desktop copiers, phone systems, typewriters, test equipment, networking equipment, modems, UPS/Lithium batteries, Ni-MH/Ni-CAD batteries, scanners, toner/ink cartridges, wire/cabling, floppy drives, disk drives, microwaves, stereos/radios, DVD/CD/Blu-Ray players, docking stations, TVs ($20 each), CRT monitors ($5 each).
